Age of Wonders 4 - Blitzing Baddies Introduction
9Howdy! We'll be playing some Age of Wonders 4 on the channel for the near to foreseeable future, so I figured I'd do us the favor of spelling out what our near-term goals are for the game. We'll do a longer form introduction to the game in our first full episode of Blitzing Baddies, don't worry (and how to play AoW 4 like a roguelike autochess game- I swear to god it works, just trust me on this one).
Settings for this series will be PvP standard- so that means Land setting for the map, no special modifiers, Standard Starting resources and Low threat intensity but against the Hardest AI available. Once we're done with one run with each of the main cultures, we'll move on to something a little more interesting for our Single Player stuff, but I wanted to bang out our Pantheon ASAP just to get access to all the goodies in there, and playing Evil is so *good* in Age of Wonders 4 that I can't help but want to jam it.
