China has seized its destiny in the world, and now dramatic changes are finally possible. With the emergence of Nihilist thought, it is clear that whatever power religion once held in Great Qing is doomed, but the question remains- how will Great Qing navigate the complex political firestorm brewing amongst the lower classes? With literacy on the rise, the peasants are growing restless, and as China pushes further and further into industrialization conflict with the massive rural base seems to be unavoidable. But in Europe, the conflict is no longer philosophical- revolution and civil war is about to grip the continent. Can Great Qing profit from this, or will revolutions toppling old regimes cost us valuable trade partners and allies and leave us abandoned diplomatically?

I think we're gonna go into Council Republic and Cooperative Ownership or Command Economy, but I'm personally hoping for Cooperative Ownership and Anarchy and National Militia personally just so we can really lean into the "infinite pops" thing we've got going on. I think it will be fun! We'll discuss some mechanical changes in 1.2 along the way as well as some AI changes, so if you want to learn more about 1.2 and dedicated tutorial videos aren't your speed, this campaign should be fun and educational.
