[Age of Wonders 4 | Ep 16] Arachna down, Meandor next! What counts as "regular conquest"?

It's Day 16 and we're at Meandor's front door getting ready to say hi. I wanted to kill 2 birds with 1 stone (ie 2 steam achievements with 1 playthrough) and wanted to know what counted as a "regular conquest". Someone in chat said to just defeat Meandor. I'm thinking it means don't do the Unique Pantheon Quest, Web of Madness. So, even though the completionist in me wants to finish it off, we'll hold off on it.
Well, it happened again... another long stream because this game is ridiculously fun. I seriously need to cut back and reclaim my sleep schedule 😵💫
Playthrough Details:
* Update - I completed the Beginner Scenario and 3 Story Realms so I have some knowledge of the game, but we're still learning! *
I am going into this with no prior knowledge of the game or any other Age of Wonders games. The only other similar-ish game I've played is SpellForce: Conquest of Eo. It will be slow going. Let's enjoy the ride!
