Age of Wonders 4 | Skirmish Mod Showcase
27Age of Wonders 4 does not have a skirmish mode in the base game, where you can quickly recruit an army to face off against another human player for one big manual fight. My guest in this video, Badok, made the skirmish mod so that you can quickly and easily set up tactical 1v1 PvP battles, with highly customizable settings.
Badok has also created a lot of presets, and a second mod called Skirmish Mod - Custom Tomes Compatibility, which allows you to use mods that that extra tomes to the game in skirmish fights!
I loved playing around with the skirmish mod and saw a lot of potential for it being to run tournaments and for it to be used to show newer players how they could be using their units in a setting where their units are just as good as their opponents units. So I decided that I wanted to showcase it here on my channel.

The Skirmish Mod - Custom Tomes Compatibility currently works with Age of Tomes, Tome of Arachnids, Tome of Dragons, Tome of Illusion, Tome of Swamp, and Badok's is working on adding more mods that are going to be compatible in the near future.
