American Horror Story amps up the fear factor this season with the introduction of the mysterious Hotel Cortez and a blood hungry Lady Gaga. Tag along for the ride with Ryan and Greg as they uncover the twists and turns of the first episode of season 5, directed by Ryan Murphy, and inspired by a real hotel with its own creepy past.
Though the hotel is inspired by the golden era of Hollywood, what happens inside its walls is anything but golden. A detective, John Lowe, is assigned to investigate the murders in the area but soon catches himself intertwined in the web of darkness around him.
Finally, The Countess, played by Lady Gaga, slashes her way through the hotel. She’s not alone in her acts of terror; Sally McKenna and Liz Taylor are up for the task. Their unlucky victims never stood a chance.
