AI is a TOOL! Not a REPLACEMENT!
52The discussions of AI are incredibly polarizing in social media, with most independent and creative minds being heavily against the usage. The recent Ghibli AI trend is a lot of people just messing around with it, including the freaking White House of all things, but it's also concerning for a lot of artists and creators out there having AI to replace their hard work.
There are plenty of people that argues how the data being fed to train AI are stolen from copyrighted works such as Studio Ghibli. There are also plenty that argue AI is harming the environment because it uses a large amount of processing power.
I am smack dab in the middle of that discussion because to me, I do see the value of AI in helping people the same way I do see the value of JARVIS helping Tony Stark. That doesn't mean that JARVIS should be the one going on a smackdown with Thanos if you know what I mean.
That's how I see the role of AI. The AI is your informational operator. They are your assistant. They help you to do the work that you are doing yourself. They are not there doing the work for you. There are some applications of AI that will work wonders for you and will save you a lot of time and money, but you still have to do the work on your own.
