A top-down action adventure game for the NES addon system, the Famicom Disk System (FDS, for short). Imagine the parts of Blaster Master where you played as just the boy, then you make those parts really good and fun. That's pretty much Ai Senshi Nicol. I had never heard of this game before SomeGirl won the raffle, so this was a fun experience.

The game is quite well made I must say. The combat feels good, the exploration is fast and the level design is solid enough to not feel like a drag. Only part that is somewhat lacking is the music. Of course the nefarious voting squad came along and stopped me from beating the game. ;_; I'll get it next time! -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/gikkman
