Named "A Preface to the Future".
From "Augusta Iaponicorum", created for the S&Y Script Festival 2019.
The most often overlooked track in the AI soundtrack. That doesn't come as a surprise, since until now, it was not available on YouTube, only in the script and the official OST download.
It's a less nostalgic, more optimistic and bright arrange of the stage theme, which the title also reflects. Cisa and Ma will settle in Gensokyo, and adapt to it, since living in a place where their myths were forgotten was not profitable anymore.
If I may say so myself, AI's staff roll is pretty cool-looking. Ever since I saw BoSM's, I fell in love with dynamic credits sequences like that, so I tried to do something similar for AI. There's really no complex stuff at work here, though, it's nothing compared to the primitive object shenanigans in BoSM. If anything, it's just a testament to Danmakufu's broken 3D camera.
If you're wondering about the end poem shown after the credits sequence, while I was producing AI I was getting ready to move to another town myself. Like Cisa and Ma, I left behind Augsburg in search of something new. Even though I like where I live now, and even though I like it more than Augsburg in a lot of ways, I'll always carry this little town of legend in my heart.
