Aim Series: DPI
Ninth video in the aim series, 'DPI'. A very similar argument to the low sensitivity v high sensitivity & the heavy mouse v light mouse video.
Higher DPIs allow for increased precision which allow for further control development as well as some other technical benefits, lower DPIs can mask inconsistency in your aim and allow for increased performance. It all comes back to improvement vs performance , but this topic is completely different with the precision side involved. The exact same aiming movement on one DPI vs another DPI could be a miss on one and a hit on the other, so its very important to understand why this happens and it could potentially be the reason for so many misses if you are a lower DPI player as you have only learnt to land in 'chunk zones' or with blockier movement (generally speaking), as your overall control/precision levels aren't actually great anyway (hence why they were hidden by low DPI!).
If you enjoyed the video, please leave a thumbs up and if you have any suggestions - please drop a comment below an I'll be sure to review, thanks for watching!
