Aim Series: FOV
Tenth video in the aim series, 'FOV'. Not the most interesting topic but still very important to understand how FOV affects perception, how games adjust your sensitivity with the magnification of scopes and how you can use FOV to your advantage in training. The main method in matching the sensitivity between different zoom ratios is monitor match distance, your sensitivity will never be exact however which is why we set a 'best case value' when determining this. Mostly when it comes to aiming, its just about knowing that higher fovs increase what you can see with regards to the edge of the screen - because your sensitivity usually stays the same, using the same movement between different fovs might only reach 80% of the screen where on the lower fov it completely cleared the whole image shown.
If you enjoyed the video, please leave a thumbs up and if you have any suggestions - please drop a comment below an I'll be sure to review, thanks for watching!
