AJ Walks Mount Maunganui Base Track (4K) (Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Testing)
0Took a family trip to the Bay of Plenty, and I enjoyed a stroll around the base of the iconic Mount Maunganui - along with a great many others on this glorious autumn morning.
In an effort to reduce my reliance on my phone alone for recording videos, I was attracted to the new Insta360 Ace Pro 2, with its larger lens and sensor size, in-built stabilisation, and separate storage. So far, despite some teething issues with memory card compatibility, signs are promising, and the colours feel more balanced across the scene, even with the bright sunlight directly in frame.
Halfway through I realised the white balance had been locked too cold, so the second half should have much more natural tones - I attempted some colour corrections in post so hopefully the difference is not too jarring, but it is hard to be consistent across the variety of scenes.
