Vorgänger der Ultima Saga, 1979 von Richard Garriott entwickelt und vertrieben (im Plastikbeutel, zusammen selbt gedruckten Handbüchern :) ). Aklabeth, auch als Ultima 0 bekannt, erschien erst 1998 offiziel in der Ultima Collection für DOS, davor gab es nur inoffizielle Ports für DOS. In Aklabeth steuert ihr einen Helden (Fighter oder Mage, wobei der Fighter mehr Waffen verwenden kann und der Mage verschiedene Zauber mithilfe des magischen Amuletts wie z.b. einen Schadenszauber, die Beschwörung von Leitern nach oben und nach unten etc.), welcher im Lande Sorsaria die Schergen des bösen Magiers auf Geheiß von Lord British bekämpfen soll und somit den ersten Angriff des Magiers Mondain auf Sosaria vereiteln soll.

In Aklabeth you control a hero (Fighter or Mage, the Fighter can use more weapons and the Mage different spells using the magic amulet such as a harmful spell, the evocation of Ladders upwards and downwards etc.), which to fight the minions of the evil mage Mondain in the land of Sosaria on behalf of Lord British and to finally deflect this first assault of the mage.
