Akachicverse: Malicious Wake
Akashicverse is a musical themed danmaku where bullet patterns play according to the music. It is really intense, but really a ton of fun.
Akashicverse is highly technical. In addition to standard focus mode that lets you fine-tune movement, you're given toggle-able shielded and unshielded modes. The former lets you swallow hits at a cost of shield meter. The latter lets you charge said meter as well as special abilities
Akashicverse is a shmup with fighting game inputs. There's a command move which surrounds your character with an aura that slows enemy shots. You can also input "moves" which give you a ton of special abilities such as bullet path prediction, decoy ships to attract enemies, bullet repelling machine guns, bomb clearing and kind of an awesome transformation.
Akashicverse is nigh undodgable. You are given so much and the game expects you to master it all. It's not so dense as to be over-complicated (something I could levy against Hellsinker) but it defies your attempts to master it.
Akashicverse is awesome and I cannot recommend enough.
