Akatori Chapter 1 Bosses (No Damage) & Ending
12I was given an early key for the soon to be released demo for Akatori, an upcoming Metroidvania where you get a magic staff for combat and platforming all the while the military destroys your beloved monastery.
There's two identical mini-bosses and one boss. The second mini-boss can be skipped but otherwise seems to be some practice with switching between the staff and your fists - throwing your staff can stun critters and let you power it up by making attacks with your fists. I do like the idea behind this and the demo does give a variety of additional attacks but it does feel a bit on the easier side. The demo is a bit short (probably 30-40 mins) but there's a number of items to find and some secret passages get revealed as you let the chaos meter build up in the spirit world.
