This week, along with the Botany Bay update, Jagex released an entire graphical rework of the Al Kharid area and removed the Prince Ali Rescue quest, replacing it with two quests involving Ozan, one of the signature heroes.


Al Kharid Rework:
The music of the entire area has seen a revamp, making it fit the theme of the area better and the graphical overhaul of the area is really impressive. Both of the new quests mentioned below are fully voiced, so to get the most out of the experience, be sure to turn on your sounds. With this update, Prince Ali Rescue has been removed from the game, although elements of that quest still remain.


Stolen Hearts (f2p & p2p):
Join Ozan in his effort to save one of his childhood friends who is in over his head with a new gang in Gielinor. This will eventually lead you back to Al Kharid, where you'll need to find a way to break into the palace by sneaking across rooftops and putting your agility to good use.

- Start by speaking to Ozan in Draynor Village.
- Need to defeat three level 2 mercenaries.
- Rewards: 3 Quest points, 2.5k gp, 250 Constitution Xp, 250 Combat Xp Lamp, 250 Agility Xp Lamp, 250 Thieving Xp Lamp, new titles, 2 Squeal of Fortune spins


Diamond in the Rough (p2p only):
Team up with Ozan once again, with the assistance of Osman to point you in the right direction. Venture down below the Shantay Pass into the open desert, following the diamond and the sun straight into the lion's mouth, where you'll come face to face with Lady Keli once again. Foil the kidnapping and return Prince Ali to Al Kharid.

- Start by speaking to Ozan outside of the Al Kharid Palace.
- Must be a member and have completed Stolen Hearts.
- Need to defeat six level 2 bandits and two level 5 thugs.
- Rewards: 1 Quest point, 250 Combat Xp Lamp, 250 Constitution Xp, 250 Agility Xp, 250 Thieving Xp, Access to the Kalphite Nursery, 2 Squeal of Fortune Spins, Hidden rewards.


Hidden Rewards:
- Scabaras: Level 80 Mining required to mine a fissure below the quicksand from Diamond in the Rough. You can enter the Kalphite nursery and run through the tunnel to get back to this room. Golden mining suit will give you a 1k xp bonus. Rewarded with 20k Mining Xp (without bonuses) and a couple of new items.
- Apmeken: Level 80 Agility and Do No Evil required to reach this tomb. Rewarded with 20k Agility Xp and a couple of new items.
