Alan Wake is one of my favourite video game protagonists, and the original game is a great horror action title that deserved more love based on the cast of characters alone. Now, the sequel "Alan Wake 2" takes everything I loved or desired in the original Alan Wake and increases the volume 10 fold, while also doing away with the weaker parts of the original horror game. Though, no Barry Wheeler will always be a cruel reality.
Alan Wake 2 is one of my favourite Survival Horror experiences in many years, and a game I didn't believe would reach the heights of other classic Survival Horrors such as Silent Hill to me, but it has. A story rich and focused game, with riddles, puzzles, and atmosphere. As well as comedy, interesting ways of storytelling, original music, musicals!!, and improved combat.
Where Alan Wake was a clear stand out with its own identity when compared to other horror games, Alan Wake 2 has made sure that nobody will confuse its self with any other game of the horror genre. This masterpiece does everything right. Any shortcomings it has (and there are a few) are easily forgiven when the total package is this well put together. I truly love Alan Wake 2 and the world it created. Where the series goes from here is an exciting thought, but one thing is clear; Remedy have always been a great developer, but now i'm first in line to buy their future releases. They put care, passion, and skill into everything they touch, and this instant classic has finally won me over.
I hope you enjoy this playthrough and can follow along, get yourselves a snack and enjoy the slow paced story focused adventure as we talk to and listen to many NPCs, read notes, find clues, search for answers, and battle Taken as they strike from the darkness in order to prevent Saga, Casey and Alan from defeating evil and escaping their living nightmare.
With the goal of gaining control once again of The Clicker, escaping the Dark Presence, saving Bright Falls, reuniting with Alan's wife; Alice, protecting Logan, and getting Casey his coffee we owe him, Alan Wake 2 is one stressful, panic inducing ride.
Alan Wake 2 is one of my favourite playthroughs i've ever done. I spend the entire run blown away by how impressed I am by the direction of this title. The gameplay and story. This playthrough will be remembered by myself for years, and I wish I could relive the experience with a clear memory once more. Enjoy the walkthrough.

Story Of Alan Wake
Alan Wake went missing in 2010. He was a bestselling writer based in New York City. On a vacation in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Alice Wake, he came face to face with a force of supernatural darkness. It brought Wake’s writing, a horror story, to life. He fought this dark presence and managed to banish it back to where it came from, a nightmarish dark place hidden under a caldera lake outside the small town of Bright Falls. Wake wrote an ending to his horror story and with that freed his wife from the darkness under the lake but became trapped there himself.
Alan Wake is not dead, although he has wished he was many times. For 13 years he’s been a prisoner in the Dark Place, where his nightmares, his fears, and his stories manifest as reality around him. For 13 years, he has been fighting to stay sane and write a story that would change reality around him in order for him to escape. So far, he has failed.

STORY OF SAGA ANDERSON
Saga Anderson is an accomplished FBI agent with a reputation for solving impossible cases. She arrives in the small-town community of Bright Falls in the Pacific Northwest to investigate a string of ritualistic murders.
Anderson’s case spirals into a nightmare when she discovers pages of a horror story that start to come true around her and suggest disturbing links to Alan Wake, a writer who went missing in the area over a decade ago.

Up there with Silent Hill, Fatal Frame and Resident Evil in Survival Horror quality. This franchise is carrying the genre on its dead shoulders.
