Happy Halloween™ everyone! Today’s the day we all dress up like our favorite ghouls and monsters and toss sweets out the door so that the supernatural horrors that lurk in the shadows won't vandalize our homes. Some call it trick-or-treat, others call it spending $40 on a bag of candy to appease a bunch of rugrats and adults who are making a statement against societal norms surrounding candy-related holidays.

Anyway, in today’s episode of Loot and Junk Media we take a look at a mysterious lake that holds the powers to bring writers' stories to life. This of course is Cauldron Lake, a lake found in the sleeper-hit Alan Wake. Alan Wake is a horror game that takes a stab at analyzing horror tropes by presenting a narrative-driven game that’s both anxiety provoking and alluring.

Please note this video is not a review for the Alan Wake remastered edition; this video is going to be talking about the PC version of the classic game that was originally released on the XBOX 360.
