If Post-Punk & New Wave had a baby it's name would be Grunge. The question is, who first took the Grunge Scene to the masses of mainstream media? Some say it was Nirvana, or rather, the mainstream came to Nirvana. But, if we really dig deep, we find that Nirvana was a full year behind Alice In Chains, who'd already given MTV a kick in the balls. As well, Soundgarden may have Grandfathered Grunge, but their successes would not come until four years after Alice and her Bondage Kit had already cornered and restrained the market.
