Alien 3 is a science-fiction horror film directed by David Fincher and released in 1992. The movie is the third installment in the Alien franchise and continues the story of Ellen Ripley, the sole survivor of the previous movie. The film is set on a prison planet where Ripley crash-lands and has to confront a new strain of the alien creature.
