Alien Resurrection (PS1) /w Mouse (Pt. 1) - Crap movie, great game?💥(Real Hardware)💥
24I started playing Alien Resurrection recently because it's history got me a bit intrigued. First, the game was made by Argonaut Software who was the key player and creator behind the Nintendo Super FX chip and the StarFox games. And, as you can see with this game on the PS1, they are technical WIZARDS. Also, this is the first game that implemented modern day FPS controls in regards to how and FPS works on console with a dual analog setup. And then this game is a licensed game of a movie that was kind of terrible and it came out long after the movie. So the common opinion would probably be to think it's terrible and not give it a shot. It turns out that it is indeed one of the more innovative games of it's era in both graphics and control. However, I didn't use the dual analog and instead went with the PS1 mouse since it also supports that under utilized peripheral.
