when i first played alien vendetta i remember this being the first map i found pretty intimidating. i also remember it having a lot of weirdly short doors. these days i thankfully find it way less intimidating... but the doors are still just as weirdly short. i think part of the thing that can make this map tricky is that through large chunks of it you have to balance threat from multiple directions. right from the start you have to navigate through or around a handful of enemies while trying to not get shot in the back by a mancubus, and even in the room with the super shotgun there is potential crossfire from nearby revenants. the cyberdemon room is also a prime example of this, and unfortunately that cyberdemon is probably going to see very little retaliation even if you get it to infight as everything clumps up under the cliff. i lured everything out into the next room, but even then there's a window nearby that gives enemies a second angle on you. the finale where you return to the start and a whole fresh wave of enemies shows up is good stuff... but i didn't realize how tight on ammo things would get (i wasn't pistol starting last time). thankfully i barely managed to scrape through and hang on through the end of the map.
