Thanks to @TeddyXGarm for the video suggestion - here's one of my Particle Turret builds to round off the Tech videos on each of the turret types, which focuses on having the whole CC arsenal of slows, stuns and knockdowns via your turret, coils, weapon attachments and perks.

Shout-outs to @inexorablewarrior and Specter for the fun run, as always - Unexpected Strength has been around forever, but we've only recently been trying it out more once we realised "stronger runner" actually means Special spawns, which really mixes things up!

So I see the Particle Turret as pretty much a straight upgrade on the Basic Turret, having the same ability to pick out targets at range, while also having the penetration of the Flame Turret that lets it tag a whole line of Xenos for Parasocial Relationship (20% more player damage) with one shot. Not only that, its shots have in-built slow meaning it automatically procs Creative Pain Point Solutions too (15% more player + turret damage).

The only notable downside vs the basic turret is that it doesn't match its firerate, and so is maybe a little worse at proccing Resonating Impact by itself, but IMO Resonating Impact is procced more consistently by the player rather than the turret anyway, particularly with high firerate weapons or shotguns, which is why I've still brought it here.

The rest of the build is pretty similar to the CC build I used in this RT run: https://youtu.be/mfm7sxJ9IUA - Deep Leverage and Maximized Retention give me routes to proc Down & Out (x1.2 damage on stunned/knocked enemies), with Recharge Speed on my Coils so I can throw them more freely, then the rest invested in weapon perks as the Particle Turret is sadly inconsistent at proccing Scalable Machine Learning (DoT kills don't count).

Where I do switch things up more is with the weapon attachments - on my Type 78 Burst Pistol, I'm using Karachi Overwatch for a guaranteed 40% slow on every 3rd hit (syncing up well with the 3-round burst), meaning I can proc Creative Pain Point Solutions with gunfire alone, leaving my coils for chokepoints and specials/elites. Heavy Spring Loaded Mag comes in for not only the firerate buff, but also increased stumble chance to proc Resonating Impact more reliably. Meanwhile, as the Stormsurge doesn't have access to the Karachi Overwatch I'm sticking with Inhibitor Rounds for the slow, and Assault Brake for firerate. You could also take the Nagpur Shroud (+10% WP, +15% Handling, every 4th hit increases Stumble Chance by 35% for 3s) for more Resonating Impact procs, though I see firerate as both a DPS increase and a way to proc RI faster.

All-in-all, this build is filled to the brim with crowd control that handily translates into damage bonuses too - give it a go!
