Aliens: Fireteam Elite - Priority One: Ingress (1-1) - Extreme
Was just doing the dailies(Win as Doc+Win an Extreme mission.) with a couple randoms in Quick Play. Ended up with Irobando and Darkstar1010.
I'm deliberately bringing Static Grids and Electroshock Turrets in an attempt to get rid of some, as my consumables have been maxed out for ages, which doesn't let me buy more in some game modes. My normal preference for consumables is Cryo Grids and Vulnerability Assessment Drones.
It started off very "*sigh* Guess they're going to insist on playing this very conservatively and defensively paranoid, holding every chokepoint possible." That's usually the case when randoms back up and chokepoint the first encounter in the game.
And then they didn't hold the corridor by the first ammo box! And Irobando started setting up in a natural chokepoint in the Dynamo Room, instead of backing into a corner behind a Cryo Grid!
At this point, I was all in on playing with at least Irobando, and Darkstar1010 seemed to be helping out too.
Sadly, Darkstar1010 appeared to disconnect or lose connection in the hall afterwards, and it was just Irobando and I for the rest of the map. Not only did we kick its ass as Doc and a Technician, we full cleared the last encounter despite not really having the damage output between us to kill everything without repositioning several times, and some noticeable latency issues too.
GG!
