204Station to Station is a gorgeous voxel-art game where we play with trains and bring a splash of colour to the world! What's not to like?
We have to connect up various buildings around a somewhat colourless map by building train stations and rails between them. Connect up a wheat farm to a windmill and this is good for business! The windmill makes flour, we get paid and, more importantly, the landscape comes to life with colourful flowers, trees and grasses!
Soon enough we're connecting up all sorts of different buildings, including bakeries and towns, and we learn about how to make the most money from our connections by doing things in such a way that all the production chains are completed at exactly the same time. It takes a while to work it out in my befuddled brain but it's worth the effort!
Whilst the puzzle side of this game is wonderful, it's the beautiful visuals that really stand out. There's so much detail in all the buildings and trains and locations, it's fantastic!
However, the big question is: Lower Cheesery or Upper Cheesery?
