Information all about the Avon S10 respirator, that served in the British army for over 20 years, from around 1986 until 2009.
The S10 features a single 40mm filter port, a drinking tube system, a frontal exhale valve and voice emitter, a secondary voice emitter on the opposite side to the filter where a radio microphone can be attached for clear communication, adjustable rubber straps and a very good field of view.
The S10 is one of the best respirators ever designed, Avon made the successor mask the FM12 which improves on the S10 in a number of ways, mostly reduced weight and size while keeping all of the good features of the S10.

Variants of the S10 have been used globally so you should be able to find them for sale in many countries, if you see one at a good price I would highly recommend buying an S10 respirator.
