All 'Assault on Vondel' Event Rewards & How to Unlock them! (FREE Finishing Move, Blueprints & more)
Season 4 is now live and with it comes the Assault on Vondel Event. In this video we’re going to take a quick look at how the event works and how you can unlock the available rewards
So the event itself is going to be active for the next 23 days as of making this video which i assume is when season 4 reloaded will begin.
There are 2 different parts of this event, The first part is the community event which tallies the total amount of medals earned by the community and as we reach different milestones new gameplay elements will be added to the game.
As you can see in the menus currently the first milestone is 125 million medals which will once reached will add the taxi boat and trams onto Vondel, The other milestone amounts don’t seem to be viewable at the moment but the 2nd milestone will add the reinforcement flare field upgrade, the next will add the favorite supply box crates and the final milestone will unlock the new police batton melee weapon for all players.
If you scroll down from this page in the events tab you will find the 2nd part of the event which is where you can see all of your individual challenges required to earn medals that contribute to the community section as well as unlocking your own individual rewards.
The rewards are a follows.
Earning one medal will unlock the foul play loading screen
Earning Five medals will unlock the shallows skin for the new T A V vehicle
Earning 10 medals will unlock the good to be king emblem and if you own MW2 you’ll also unlock the seadog blueprint for the x12 pistol
Earning 20 medals will unlock the Trishula Blueprint for the Signal 50 & if you own MW2 you’ll also unlock the Deep Sea Danger weapon decal
At 25 medals you’ll unlock the Splatter Tactics Weapon Camo and if you own MW2 you’ll also unlock the breath in the soul weapon sticker
At 30 medals you’ll unlock the randy the ribbiter weapon decal
At 35 you’ll unlock the electrifying finishing move
Finally at 40 medals you’ll unlock the alpha brigade skin for Aksel, The train car weapon camo, Orders incoming loading screen and if you own mw2 you’ll also unlock the Colonel Squeaks weapon charm.
On the challenges map you can see that there are 3 different sections to it, MW2 Multiplayer Challenges, The Vondel Points of Interest Challenges & The Recurring challenges.
On the bottom right there are 2 recurring challenges which are challenges that you can do over and over again and you’ll earn one medal each time you complete either challenge.
In Warzone that is to place 5th of Higher in any warzone match or in MW2 Multiplayer you need to get 15 kills in a winning match.
On the left hand side there are the MW2 Multiplayer specific challenges which fall into 3 different categories, Intelligence, Operations & Logistics.
Each of these categories have three challenges which reward 1 medal per challenge and these are based around multiplayer game modes which are all simple enough to complete, like win 5 games of hardpoint, win matches of search & destroy, capture 25 flags in domination and so on.
The rest of the challenges are spread across the different points of interest of Vondel and just like the multiplayer ones each point of interest has 3 different challenges each of which reward one medal.
For every single point of interest on this map you need to find a detonator which can be found in both Warzone & DMZ games on Vondel. I’m pretty sure this map shows the exact location for each of the detonators but I plan to upload a location video for all of them later today, so make sure to subscribe with notifications if you’re interested in that.
The remaining challenges for each of the different points of interest are pretty straight forward such as opening loot crates in a certain POI, killing enemy operators in a certain POI & starting contracts in certain points of interest.
