Here is a list of all The Chronicles of Narnia for the NINTENDO GameCube and Playstation 2:
1. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)
2. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008)

The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe is the game based on the movie based on the book. The game is for the most part a puzzle solver. You switch between the four character and use their particular abilities to move from one place to the other. Puzzles are easy to solve and straight forward. But since you have 4 characters, with a handful of abilities across the game, the formula doesn’t get repetitive.
The game also has combat in it. And it’s downplayed. You’re not going to kill in the game. Rather, you use stealth, and put people to sleep. Or in the worst case you incapacitate them. And the almost lack of violence makes it a great game for kids. Also the combat, even though simple, has depth. You can even combine two characters into a special attack. And you can buy more moves from the shop.
At any time during the gameplay another player can join in on the action without having to change modes or otherwise upset game in progress. The two players can then play as any of the other characters in the game. And when the second player is done, the game will resume in single player, without breaking the action or changing modes. More games should have such amazing co-op mechanics.
Levels are super detailed and polished. The sound in the game is great! There are even Collectibles in the levels.
The gameplay is polished, which is great to see. You know how tie-in games usually are bad. Because movie makers rush developers to cash in on the hype. Well, this game is an exception. Even the storytelling is great! You understand the story by playing the game. But beware that it’s spoiler heavy. Soi f you haven’t watched the movie or read the book, I recommend those, or else you will know what happens in the story if you finish the game.
Overall, the game is a great action adventure. For both fans and for newcomers.
The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian follows the same gameplay idea, and expands on it. Now you get to play as around 20 characters. And the hordes of enemies from the last levels of the previous game are more plentiful in this one. You’ll be bashing your way through enemy lines. And it’s fun. The two games feel like part one and two of the same game. They have the same gameplay formula. Their main difference, at least in my impression, was that I saw the first one more revolving around puzzles, even if the ending is a big bunch of battles, and the second one oriented towards battles, even if it has a bunch of puzzles too. Anyway, I recommend you the two games, no matter if you’re a fan of the series or not. The only category of gamers I don’t recommend the game to are the hardcore gamers. Because these two games aren’t difficult at all. So mostly casual players will fully enjoy the game.
