Warning: This videogame contains large props and widely scaled environments. Of course that leads us to venture outwards, where we can find all sorts of new things like crash sites and fish species, and even a class of Leviathan predators, though we still have yet to see one. So onward we ventured, onward, onward, to a shipwreck, a whole shipwreck, so far away that it required a tedious whole 5 seconds of venturing. Developed and published by a game development company called Unknown Worlds Entertainment, it was released for early access on the Steam game platform in December 2014. The Subnautica game features a free-to-roam open-ocean environment played from a first-person perspective, which creates a strong sense of actually being the diver within the suit, whether this be when lightly treading on the ocean surface, or being VERY deep down, feeling uncomfortable in the most pleasant of ways.
