The ALO Rx headphone amplifier has a battery monitoring chip implemented into the circuit board that constantly monitors the battery to help lengthen the batteries overall life span. For example if the battery has just been charged not to long ago and has 85-95% juice left and you attempt to charge the unit. The battery monitoring chip will not allow the battery to be charged until the batteries juice level reaches below 50%. This is vital when it comes to Lithium-Ion batteries. They should only be charged when the battery has been depleted enough. The battery life for the amplifier is 30+ hours.

The JH13 Pro and other multi-speaker earphones put many amplifiers to shame when trying feed the signal from them. It's hard task for an amplifier to properly amplifier multi-speaker earphones.
