RétroGaming 2.0 ;0)Presents you "Altered Beast" is a side-scrolling, 2D beat 'em up. At the beginning of the first level, Zeus fires lightning into the ground, commanding a centurion to "Rise from your grave!" The centurion begins each level with a few attacks. He can perform a standard punch, a ducking punch, a jumping punch, a shin kick, a vertical kick, or a jumping kick. If he kills a white wolf enemy and grabs the flying orbs they leave behind, Zeus yells " Power Up!" and the centurion grows much more muscular, with more powerful punches and kicks. After collecting three orbs, he transforms into one of the following creatures :
Level 1 - Wolf: The wolf's punches shoot out fireballs and his kick attack is replaced with a horizontal dash that quickly moves across the screen, killing any enemy in its path.
Level 2 - Dragon: The dragon can fly across the screen. His punch is replaced with a lightning bolt that shoots out of the dragon's mouth.
Level 3 - Bear: The bear's punch attack is a short-ranged breath attack that turns enemies into stone, which can then be smashed.
Level 4 - Tiger: The tiger shoots a fireball from his fists when punching, just like the wolf. His kick is an up-and-down invincible dash.
Level 5 - Golden Wolf: The golden wolf has the same moves as the wolf.
Each level scrolls automatically to the right, with enemies advancing on the centurion throughout the level.

RétroGaming 2.0 ;0) Vous présente "Altered Beast"est un beat 'em up 2D à défilement horizontal. Au début du premier niveau, Zeus lance des éclairs dans le sol, ordonnant à un centurion de « Sortez de votre tombe ! » Le centurion commence chaque niveau par quelques attaques. Il peut effectuer un coup de poing standard, un coup de poing d'esquive, un coup de poing sauté, un coup de pied au tibia, un coup de pied vertical ou un coup de pied sauté. S'il tue un ennemi loup blanc et attrape les orbes volantes qu'ils laissent derrière eux, Zeus crie "Power Up!" et le centurion devient beaucoup plus musclé, avec des coups de poing et des coups de pied plus puissants.
Niveau 1 - Loup : Les coups de poing du loup lancent des boules de feu et son attaque de coup de pied est remplacée par un tiret horizontal qui se déplace rapidement à travers l'écran, tuant tout ennemi sur son passage.
Niveau 2 - Dragon : Le dragon peut voler à travers l'écran. Son coup de poing est remplacé par un éclair qui jaillit de la gueule du dragon.
Niveau 3 - Ours : L'attaque coup de poing de l'ours est une attaque respiratoire à courte portée qui transforme les ennemis en pierre, qui peut ensuite être brisée.
Niveau 4 - Tigre : Le tigre tire une boule de feu de ses poings en frappant, tout comme le loup. Son coup de pied est un tiret invincible de haut en bas.
Niveau 5 - Loup d'or : Le loup d'or a les mêmes mouvements que le loup.
Chaque niveau défile automatiquement vers la droite, les ennemis avançant sur le centurion tout au long du niveau.
