Alternative BAD Endings: Arrested For...NOT Racing A Bike!?! - Road Rash II ✔
Alternative BAD Endings, featuring Road Rash II on the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis. A common 'bad' ending of sorts to a race is to be disqualified by not finishing it. Usually by totaling your bike or getting arrested for speeding (usually after crashing). But what if there was a way to get arrested for not breaking the law, or at least not get caught in the act...

Normally when bailing on Road Rash, your biker will automatically run back to your bike to remount. Holding up on the D-Pad will continue your in the opposite direction. Exploiting this, we can continue to 'race', although your chances of winning are zero. Roughly a third or half-way of any track, an officer is stationed to commence chase when normally speeding by on a bike. Strangely, this officer will arrest you, with or without one. Not only that, but he will arrest you on sight, even if you are physically near him.
Getting arrested in Road II ends your race, and sees you paying a fine for speeding. However, Road Rash II is programmed so you get arrested for being off your bike near an officer. The result being getting arrested and paying a speeding fine, for running along the side of a road. There is something truly hilarious about getting thrown into the boot of a police car, for not being in possession of a bike or caught illegally racing!
