This week's theme is "I can't kill bosses with hammer only". Alternate title: "Go mode at 1:08 followed by spending 20 minutes dying to trinexxx.

Other mistakes:

I stored a waterwalk and used it after fake flippering to Hobo in order to check the two chests at waterfall cave. (mistake)...I had completely forgotten that we had moon pearl at that point so we could use the moon pearl to waterwalk in waterfall cave, then keep the stored waterwalk from ice rod cave. Thus, I was able to see the titan's mitts but had to make a separate trip up there to get it. This was completely avoidable if I had my head screwed on straight and remembered the moon pearl.

Got the softlock in Skull Woods. I've done enough z3rsim to know that that softlock is a definite possibility but I never thought about maybe just changing my routing so I can always avoid it. I usually go into the big chest room first if I have the mirror, and fall in the hole straight away if I don't. But maybe I oughtta always do the big chest entry first.

Tried hammer blind twice and then gave up. I have not practiced this enough so it didn't make sense to keep trying. I figured "I'll just go back there later when I have the flute". Of course, ended up not finding the flute for the entire seed...

Checked an extra chest in DP because I lost count of items, then when trying to dash upwards to the final section, accidentally jumped off the ledge instead. Sigh...had to walk back through the dungeon again...
Decided to check bumper cave before heading into IP or anything else like that. This was because I needed to go back to beat blind anyways, so I figured I might as well check bumper cave while I was at it. Hookshot was on bumper cave and that ended up being key for this seed -- phew!

Death mountain was sloppy. Without mirror, I should have taken the turtle rock warp to dark world on the offchance that it was quake-locked (it was). Instead I took the south death mountain warp which meant I had to walk all the way over to turtle rock again.

Hammer Trinexxx pretty much destroyed my run. I didn't realize I would have SO MANY PROBLEMS doing this. Everything from randomly getting hit by trinexx's foot, to the heads randomly deciding to insta-dodge my rod shots, to bad timing of the main head causing me to miss hammer hits, and thus run out of magic. This sucked a good 15-20 minutes out of my run. Of COURSE tempered sword ended up being my reward. asdfhawftjuysrk
