Execution mistakes this time:
Died twice in TT, once to those deadly rats, and once to Blind. The blind death should not have happened, as I had cape, should have used it. I just didn't notice how low on health I was (no beeping).Ran out of magic on silverless ganon since I was too ambitious -- didn't do torch glitch and used fire rod instead of just taking it slow with lantern. Bad decisions, maybe I was feeling distracted, but ended up having to redo that fight.
Only a few sub-2 times for this seed, it looks like. I full cleared every dungeon except SP. Guess where the silvers were? =( I don't think it was worth it though, as there was a decent possibility that silvers could be in GT, and I knew that I could just go mode SP and pick up my bow from ped (I already had the other two pendants).
I put off DP for a while, hoping to get boots first (which ended up being on helmasaur). I don't think that hurt me though, as by that time I knew I should full clear it because bow was on ped. I had a feeling that either flute or lantern was likely to be in DP somewhere though, given that I had sequence broken to DM to get dark world access. (it ended up being flute in DP and lantern at agina)
Sequence broke to IP, even did pyramid fairy hoping to get an out-of-logic bow to avoid pedestal, but no luck. My early EP dip didn't get me anything, but I don't really regret that. I nearly last-locationed the flippers -- I had done all overworld checks except for spike cave, and even did the MM cutscene chest, before heading into PoD, because I was hoping to avoid the PoD double-dip. Turns out it was required.
I said in my VOD that you could have potentially skipped TR, but that's false as you needed bombos to get into MM. So this was an all dungeons required seed. You needed to dip TR for bombos, you needed to clear DP for the flute, and you needed to double-dip PoD - go in there first to get the flippers, then come back with a bow from either SP or ped. You could have skipped argghus if you decided to full-clear SP looking for a bow, or you could have go-moded SP and gone straight to argghus to get the bow from ped.
Hard to say how you were "supposed" to run this seed. Bow on ped and flippers in PoD is just a terrible combination, as there was a lot of reason to try and check the rest of the overworld for the flippers (or a bow) before going into PoD. I don't really see how else one would have done it.
