"Always Hold Physics Objects" - Patch Coverage
Once more BIG THANK YOU to Hyper! :D
So at this rate, i think the main gameplay patches are restored right? The only thing that comes to mind that could be improved upon is the 360 options, how it doesnt save your audio settings, despite it saving on ps3, and despite on 360 the subtitle changes do save.
I can definitely see a lot of people wanting an autosave eventually but, not sure how obtainable that'd be.
In terms of gameplay though, we've done soo much, and its insane how far we've come and in so little time, i think the as mentioned releasing enemies after grabbing, but probably more importantly, the throwing boss characters to damage them would be a neat fix.
I know there are a few modders including Hyper, that are trying to restore the NOW LOADING... demo element, how it plays the ending animation when it loads, compared to retail just making it disappear when gameplay loads, so let's hope that's a success!
There is something that bugs me a lot that i could see as a patch, again related to XBLA behaving better, but if you pause while holding forward, and/or you've just inputted something lets say A to jump, then unpause, in XBLA you're still facing forward, and you've triggered a jump. In retail.... you're facing a completely different direction (which can be anywhere except where you were) and instead of triggering a jump, its automatically inputted A again, so now you're doing a double A button (homing/teledash etc) despite only really inputting once. It's pretty minor ngl, its just like the guide delay, something that bugs if you use speedrunning glitches/tricks a lot, and as far as fixing the game goes, this definitely should change one day, but i don't expect this anytime soon and as always there's no rush with patches like these.
But what about you guys? is there anything you're still waiting for?
