Do you ever have people in your life who just seem to enjoy making you feel like dirt? Who always pick a fight and drag you down into the mire? Sometimes, those are our friends. Sometimes, they're our colleagues. Sometimes, they're members of our family. Instead of wallowing in self-pity about it, or just blindly putting up with it for the sake of having some "supportive" presence in our lives to get through the hard times - there are ways that we can deal with it.

The advice I give in this video may not be what you were hoping for - but it's an important lesson that you are the only one who can change your situation. If you feel unappreciated, it's time to find better friends. There's no point in being with people that keep you feeling bad by how they treat you.

Yes, I understand that there are some life circumstances that keep you in those groups for a period of time - especially if they're familial, but you always have a choice. And I want you to choose to make your life better and not be tied to the people that are treating you like a punching bag.
