17Seriously, this game has an awesome and very innovative system for walking in the game . . . you actually walk in real life . . . a lot. Who woulda thunk it?!!!
Most virtual reality games have static systems of movement in which one teleports (if they are prone to motion sickness) or use free movement (which isn’t really moving so much as you push on a stick or trackpad and your character floats in the game while you’re standing still). TEA FOR GOD solves the movement problem with an innovative and rather special movement system in that YOU ARE ACTUALLY WALKING IN REAL LIFE. The game maps a play space to your actual space and you walk . . . and walk . . . and walk.
Here’s a special recording of our in-VR out-of-doors Oculus Quest virtual reality experiment experience. Join Rev. Dr. Brian David Phillips as he is joined by composer and artist Kantella as she maps out a large play area and gives TEA FOR GOD a go on the OCULUS QUEST . . . in glorious VIRTUAL REALITY while outside in ACTUAL REALITY! Will it work? Yes, it will! Will she be walking and walking and walking in circles? Oh, yes she will!

You can get your own grubbies on the OCULUS QUEST at https://www.oculus.com/quest/ (just don’t take your Quest out of doors to play, only an idiot would do that).
The game TEA FOR GOD needs to be Sideloaded on the Quest (it is also available for Windows PC VR). For sideloading, we recommend SIDEQUEST at https://sidequestvr.com and you can sideload the game directly from the app. Or, get the game at https://void-room.itch.io/tea-for-god and do everything manually.
