Although the Steam Deck has been able to run Windows for weeks, Valve has been unclear about how well this will be supported, or whether an option for Trusted Platform Modules (TPM) can be enabled to run Windows 11. In partnership with AMD, Valve is working on implementing TPM on the Windows 10 operating system and making the Steam Deck compatible with Windows 11. As a result, the Steam Deck can run a lot of games that aren’t officially supported by Windows, but anti-cheat has been a major problem for Proton in recent years.
