Our Daughter needed her PC to actually run without needing to keep a fire extinguisher handy. No joke this old PC would run super hot, partly because of the dirt and muck in the cooling fans but also the GPU was so old and just a high TDP. The HD4830 and the Athlon X4 620 will be replaced by the following parts:

Also we will be changing the old HDD to a used, but much faster SSD. The Toshiba/OCZ Arc100 240GB. The PSU is an older model but should be okay in this low powered setup. Time will tell...

Anyway, watch the video to see how the upgrade went. And I'll say it again. This isn't a benchmark video or anything remotely close to one. It is purely me pulling out some old PC components and replacing them with new parts, I am not comparing or testing or anything like that. You have been warned :-)
