If you have an AMD graphics card and have high temperatures on idle, it is possible that the problem is in the high memory clock.
This problem has been around for a long time, and this is a solution that I also use.
This "bug" significantly increase temperatures when you are not using your computer and can have a negative effect when it comes to gaming.
