AMD will debut the Polaris 10 architecture and the seventh generation of APU's at Computex, which will take place on the 1st June, 2016 according to a press release of the company. The next generation of APU's will be using the AM4 socket, seeing the introduction of the successor to the older technology and thus allowing users to put in Summit Ridge GPU's (Zen CPUs)
The live stream of the event will be available to view on the companies official website here: http://www.amd.com/computex
Meanwhile, AMD's official market share of GPU's has risen almost 3 percent to slightly under 30 percent, which is a great improvement from the 18 percent it held just several months ago. According to analysts, much of the reasoning behind this is down to the Radeon Crimson drivers, DirectX 12 and async compute along with the virtual reality support.
