AMD on Nvidia ’s Embrace of FreeSync | AMD Sues MediaTek For Patent Infringement & More
389AMD CEO Lisa Su has spoken out on Nvidia's support of FreeSync, which was announced by Jensen Huang at CES 2019. Unsurprisingly, they count this as a victory.
Elsewhere, AMD are suing MediaTek for alleged patent infringement on their APU and GPU tech, and the lawsuit looks to be looking pretty peachy for AMD.
Nvidia have made statements saying that their Pascal GPUs should be "normalising" in price soon, but it seems they are doing little to work with retailers on shifting GTX cards.
Verizon are another heavyweight with their eyes set on cloud gaming, according to a new report.
Finally, another lawsuit as Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford and an ex Gearbox lawyer are suing each other, with fairly serious allegations on both sides.
