Lisa Su Teases Ryzen Core Count & EXCLUSIVE Zen 2 Info On Clocks & ThreadRipper 3 Release Date
AMD's Ryzen 3000 series of processors has been the subject of much debate, in recent comments Lisa Su has heavily hinted that we'll see an increase in core count for Ryzen 3000, which goes very much in hand with what we've heard about the next generation of AMD processors too from our sources.
Our source has also said that we'll be seeing AMD target the same TDP as the ryzen line ups we're so familiar with now, so that's 65, 95 and finally 105W. This means that given the power estimates of the current ryzen 3000 engineering sample chip, AMD have still about 30 - 40 ish watts left in the TDP tank.
Our source also confirmed ThreadRipper 3000 is in the works, and will see a Q3 launch - though there is no information as to the specs as yet.
AMD are also yet to nail to final specs of the clock speeds for the ryzen 3000 series as yet, according to our sources.
