Can AMD R9 280X handle 4K? Well here are some tests at 3840x1080p with it. Not the right height but pretty damn close.
This is a personal test so I and you that are curious how 4k will work with your R9 280X. It's not complete 4K cause I only have a LED Monitor 1920x1080 also a Plasma TV also I guess it can be called 3K. But still a nice test to see how the looks and performance will be.
All benchmarks and gametests are at highest graphics settings without AA except on TF2, forgot to turn it off. Why no AA, well what I've heard in 4K you dont need to use it cause of the high density pixels and at this resolution it was pretty sweet even. So in the future when the 4K monitors are down in price I might buy and do a new test and upload for you guys. Questions? Put out a comment if so. Best regards Balubish
Sidenote: I checked while uploading this vid how mouch the video mem usage was on Crysis 3 with MAX settings on everything just a little above 2700MB VRAM. So I really hope 3GB GDDR will be enough for a 4K monitor when I buy one.

Final note: 3GB wont be enough for 4K, I might be able to play games like TF2 and such but I love playing games like Crysis and Battlefield. So we have to wait couple of years so there is a 4K mainstream card to use.
