AMD Radeon Boost: On vs Off FPS Test in 5 Games
0There are currently 3 new games supported (Direct X12) by the Radeon Boost from Adrenaline 21.3.1 drivers: Doom Eternal, Resident Evil 3 and Cyberpunk 2077.
The Radeon Boost works on mouse and camera movements by lowering the resolution to increase the fps, we find this function already implemented in some recent games under the name of Dynamic Resolution Scaling.
This feature is particularly useful for low-end pc or 4K config, the game will sometimes seem less beautiful but it allows you to keep your FPS high.
To activate the Radeon Boost: Open Radeon Software Click the gaming tab Select supported games (if the game is not in the list you can add it by clicking on the 3 vertical dots, more options. Then go to find the .exe of the game in the installed game directory) Enable Radeon Boost (when the game is not running).
If the Radeon Boost function is not available in the Radeon Software, remember to update your drivers.
