American truck Sim 03 - 48t Log Loader
4In this episode i pull a 48t - 106ft. trailer out of a logging camp in upper Washington, close to Canada, my kind of country, I get it out through a series of switch backs and hairpin turns.
my claim of 106ft.
I only know the Alberta rules and regs, in Canada so....
The game doesn't show trailer length, and you can't purchase a triaxle in the game, so its an approximation of using wheelbase charts and interaxle spacing.
triaxle jeep - range in Canada from 6.25 -12.5 m, i went 12m its a triaxle - 40'
Lowboy triaxle non steerable, depending on brand before extending it - 48'
Booster, or stinger depending on how its attached, (flip axle), and the spread of the axles i went with - 18'
106 ft. or so
wheelbase of the tractor is Alberta max 6.2" including steering axle to front bumper ill go 2' ... so ... 22'
total length is about 118 ft.

If regulations haven't changed total length of a turnpike double in Alberta is 127 ft. (it has been a while since i pulled pikes)
My comment of wrong trailer, i'm used to scissor neck winch tractor lowboys, commonly used in the Canadian oilfield, they have a higher ground clearance, and yes i know some goosenecks have hydraulics and can be lifted, once again its just what i'm used to seeing, and the amount of times I've seen damage on the front of a gooseneck lowboy cause they didn't use them or didn't have hydraulic hookups, and I got stuck on a road once cause a guy high centered his trailer, had to call out a cat to come pull him off.
