George Jetson is late for work and begs Mr. Spacely not to fire him and asks if there's anything he can do? A slow grin plays across Spacely's face, he then says "I'm glad you asked, Jetson. Pack your bags! You're going on a little trip!"

A quite impressive game for 1989. Got nice music and graphics. It runs fast and smooth. The "text parser" is well done and you can even scroll through it using the right mouse button. The inventory system is great too. I was surprised when I noticed Orbitty's sound in the beginning was louder when he was up-close, then lower when further away. I've played similar games from around the same year and they are often slow and glitchy. Finally a decent Hanna-Barbera game. Although quite difficult without some help.

Had this on my Amiga as a kid (25+ years ago) and couldn't get far. Many years later when I started with longplays I wanted to longplay this game but couldn't find any proper solutions/walkthroughs online. There was just this text document, which would have done the job, BUT it lacked a bunch of images that had paths laid out so you can navigate the mazes and other things. Missing these made me now attempt a longplay. Now recently when I decided to longplay ALL Hanna-Barbera games I could find for the Amiga, I was determined to finally play through it.

Did some quick editing to the intro so it would sync with the music a bit better than it does normally.

There was never a longplay of this anywhere, as far as I could tell... UNTIL recently. 3 weeks ago (March 1, 2018) someone uploaded a longplay of the Amiga version (seems like this game wasn't ported to other systems) was uploaded to YouTube. I thought maybe I could use that one as help, but still mainly go with the text based walkthrough. Well, his video was too messy. I only took some help navigating the jungle (could just as easily have read that in the text, as it was included, no image needed for that info). The intro and credits parts were not included, he had huge pauses here and there, minutes... and the last part where we needed to navigate the tubes, he spent ONE HOUR finding where to go. Yeah, this info would have been in the images, so I spent quite some time there as well while trying to find the tools, guard dog, and the sorting machine. Nearly an hours myself :P, but when I learned the paths, I could redo this part without getting lost, thus only spent about 6 minutes there (would have been shorter if I didn't give time for reading the texts). His video also had massively wrong aspect ratio and skipped all dialogues, well... he didn't pause to read, he just clicked next, next, next, like a speedrun. When we both were at the same point in the game, his video was at 3 minutes, mine at 15 as I showed a lot more during that time (and again, gave time for the text to be read). Despite him skipping stuff and basically trying to go from A-B by doing nothing but what's needed, it's 1 hour, 52 mins long. So imagine ALL the time he just stands still doing nothing ;). Sort of wanna teach/tell him about the wonderful world of editing and using saves, but it's kinda complicated when dealing with Amiga games.

Still props to him for longplaying it, never thought anyone would until I did it myself. Took hours to complete as I try as much as I can before finally decide on what to record/show. I replay parts over and over again, trying different dialogue options, see what would happen if I do this and that.

The walkthrough kept telling me to hurry, and do this and that to save valuable time, so I was always a bit worried that the extra stuff I did that wasn't needed (talking to Rosie and other people, like the ones in the restaurant, visiting Jane, goofing around...) would cause game over later on in the game and I would have to redo it ALL. Turns out I had plenty of time and could have shown more. So, I did an "Extras" video.

Speaking of goofing around. One of the things that didn't need to be done was giving Astro the mints. I knew he didn't want them, but did it for his reaction :P

I had to visit Jane as she's not seen anywhere else in the game later, until the ending, but not interactable then, and had to tell her I'm in a hurry, as any other option causes me to get stuck in that room after she leaves, as the salesperson wouldn't let me go. While doing the extras video, I noticed it IS possible to get out, but would for sure have lost too much time by then.
