Amiga Longplay Exile

This is a longplay of the excellent Exile on the Amiga lasting around 3hrs 45 mins.
Several issues: The graphics emulation seems to have been a little dubious, the gui seems mis-aligned and the video is actually larger than 320 pixels wide. This seems to cause tiling glitches but they're generally quite ignorable. Also at around 23m 21sec you'll notice a score/time jump. This is because I had to re-record a bad video segment but did it in 2 mins instead of 4, what I did was generally the same.
Also I was a bit of a newbie at this game and so took my time (stop starting over several months) and got confused in some sections. I was also working off a german-to-english walk through which was a little confusing. I left in a 12 min trial and error section (where I eventually realised I should use the slow gun) around the 3hr 20mins mark to show just how technical the game can be. If I had left in all the outtakes the recording would have been more like 10 hours - I probably played for about 50 hours in total to complete the recording.
This would be an excellent game challenge for speed runs. I'm sure that any competent player would fly alot more gracefully and solve the puzzles in a better order or better way, particularly with a longplay to help keep things on track. As an extra incentive you will notice that only one crew member is still alive, for some unknown reason, when I go to collect them. So there's still plenty of room for the definitive Exile Longplay where both crew members survive for anyone else who wants to try! -
