Rendered in mono, because that's how it's played in the demo itself.
I was dying to find the mod for the file, it's so good. Apparently, it's in the demo itself, as a raw file named "cyberpunk." I opened it in OpenMPT and voila! mod goodness.

In the mod itself, the sample names tell a story:
You know how it goes. It was dark, it was raining. It was a gigantic dystopian city formed by New York and Los Angeles meeting in the middle. There was the obligatory pyramid squatting on what used to be Utah. Androids dreamt of electric sheep (for some reason). Flying cars were a constant danger, and every time I turned my head, a suspended chord swelled until it was drowned out by a riff on the electric toms. A new life apparently awaited me in the off-world colonies, but you can't get a decent tea in space.
