In Among Ashes we play as ourselves staying at home during the 2001 Christmas holidays while our roommate visits family.. It is just another story night playing the popular 1st person shooter "Demon Blood" when we receive a text from our friend Mark..

Apparently he found a new indie horror game he found on a message board which he decides to share with us.. Upon diving into the game we quickly learn that this game is not just another "Resident Devil" or "Silent Mill" clone.. But a disturbing ride through hell..

The video is cursed.. and as we continue to play it.. characters start to bleed over to the real world and we are no longer safe in our own home.. The only chance we have of surviving the night is to keep playing the horror game... Don't give up.. Keep playing... Keep playing or die...

Will we survive this stormy night? Will we persist and keep playing!? Or will we end up dead at the hands of the cursed games' enemies transporting to the real world.. !?!?!
