Among the Sleep 100% Speedrun (version 2.0) in 33:54.21
37After a bunch of routing but no actual runs, this is the first run I created with my own route.
Some newer discoveries found in 2.0 that help in this run:
- The railing item boost skip in the first level is skipped for a much faster wall clip to the office, which is only viable in 100%.
- The run abuses a lot of checkpoint reloading to get to places faster (the collectibles ARE saved after picking them up, they do not respawn unless you do a New Game afterwards).
- The first playhouse encounter with Teddy has some odd AI involving Teddy, He always seems to follow you around. Knowing this, you can position him away from the door so you don't need to use the blocks to "hop up" to climb through the door in later playhouses.
- The box jump in the beginning of the Closet level is A LOT easier to do, and is almost 100% accurate every time I tried it in practice.
- If you don't climb on the barrels to get the 2nd key in the forest, the mother monster will not spawn. Just grab it from the box you move and get the drawing from the same box (I messed up positioning in the run slightly).
- I did wallclip after getting the last drawing at the end of the Forest level, however I was actually aiming for just getting the checkpoint and reloading by SLIGHTLY clipping. Either way is viable, just luck dependent I guess. You still need to be fast or you will die, this is a painful part if you are slow.
A few small mistakes such as slightly being lost between the well and the drawing after the well, grabbing the 2nd key in the forest, as well as picking up the old closet room box when I didn't even need it (old habits). Cutting 33? Probably not, unless something major is found.
